The 2017 Falcon Club of America convention will be held July 12-15, 2017 at the Lions Gate Hotel & Conference Center in Sacramento, CA. It will be hosted by the Sonoma County Falcons for Fun and River City Chapters with assistance from other Pacific Region Chapters.
The Lions Gate Hotel is within 20 minutes of major Sacramento attractions, including Old Sacramento, the State Capitol, and much more. The hotel itself will provide an entertaining experience with a full service restaurant, bar/cocktail lounge, and game rentals! Relax at the outdoor pool & spa, go for a walk on the beautiful jogging path, or use the complimentary fitness center.
Rooms are available at the following rates (not including tax):
Standard room (1 queen bed or 2 double beds or 1 king bed): $99.00/night
1-Bedroom suite (1 queen bed, pullout sofa sleeper, living room): $119.00/night
King Executive suite (1 king bed, pullout sofa sleeper, living room): $129.00/night
2-Bedroom suite (one queen bed in each bedroom, pullout sofa sleeper, living room): $139.00/night
Please note: The Lions Gate will only accept room reservations for those staying a minimum of 3 nights. If you plan to stay for two nights or less, you may make a reservation at the Crowne Plaza. Information for the Crowne Plaza is below.The cut off dates for these rates is Tuesday, June 13, 2017. The Lions Gate Hotel currently has no vacancies for the dates of of the 2017 FCA Convention. This condition could change due to cancellations. However, hotel rooms are available at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 5321 Date Avenue in Sacramento. The Crowne Plaza is located less than 10 minutes away from the Lions Gate. The hotel has an outdoor pool & spa, fitness center, and a full service restaurant and bar. Rates for a single king or 2 queen bedroom are $119, plus tax. This rate includes complimentary parking, Wi-Fi, and hot breakfast each morning. The hosting chapters are busy preparing for the convention. Information regarding tours and a schedule of events are underway. Please note that there will be limited activities (registration, FCA Officers Meeting) on Wednesday, July 12th. The Falcon Show and the FCA Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, July 15th. No activities are planned for Sunday, July 16th.

An IMPORTANT note about the 2017 Falcon Club of America (FCA) Convention
The 2017 FCA Convention is hosted by the FCA chapters in the Pacific Region. The two main Chapters hosting the convention are the Sonoma County Falcons for Fun, and River City. While this is a National Convention, it is hosted by the local chapters, not the FCA National Organization. It requires considerable planning, labor and financial risk to host the convention. While we are endeavoring to make this a rewarding experience for those that attend, please remember that we are all VOLUNTEERS. We are not paid, but if there are any earnings from the event, then most if not all of the net proceeds will be donated to charity. There are many-many details that must be considered when hosting a national convention. It is likely that we will miss some, but we will do the best we can! Your kindness and understanding is much appreciated.
